Join Us Most Thursday Evenings*NOTE 1
To learn about more about creating websites with Joomla
The Free, Open Source, Content Management System

Joomla Study Session: Our group organizer is teaching a core group of people how to build websites for their small businesses and non-profits with Joomla. We've begun meeting weekly and each session is a mix of continuing to learn and practice Joomla fundamentals, mixed with an introduction to some more advanced feature or Joomla extension.  This next meeting, our advanced topic will be on using MailChimp for maintaining a mailing list and send out email.

This is a hands-on laboratory session and everyone is required to bring their own laptop and practice between sessions.

We are striving to supplement the group meetings with conference calls and screen-share sessions between meetups.

NOTE1 - GREAT NEWS:  The New York City Joomla Users Group (www.joomlanyc.org) announced that beginning May 21st, it will meet every third Thursday of the month, in a central Manhattan location.   Starting in May, our group will skip meeting the third Thursdays of every month, so participants can attend these NYCJUG meetings.  For more information visit www.joomlanyc.org.
